| Natalie Gelatt returns for her 3rd year at Mountain Peak teaching the 5th-6th grade class. Before coming to Mountain Peak, she taught for 32 years in the St. Vrain Valley School District in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. She not only brings experience but enthusiasm and a passion for teaching. Natalie believes that the best way to engage young minds is by making the classroom a place of active and exciting learning. She promotes personal responsibility, self-confidence, and the love of learning. She grew up in California and graduated from UCLA and then received her Elementary Education degree from CA State University at Long Beach. Plus, she has taken numerous Professional Development classes. She has a State of Colorado Teacher License in Elementary Education. She loves being active. Some leisure activities are gardening, hiking, exercising, playing volleyball, reading and enjoying the outdoors. Also, she loves spending time with her family. Mrs. Gelatt looks forward to another exciting year with lots of adventures. |
