| A former exchange student in France, Mme. Ann Hovick holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and in Education and a Master of Arts degree in French from the University of Iowa. Mme. Hovick holds current State of Colorado Professional Teacher Licenses in Elementary Education, French Grades K-12, and Special Education Generalist ages 5-21. She has 24 years experience teaching French from beginning primary grades to advanced college grammar. This is her fifth year at MPPS. In class we concentrate on everyday conversational phrases and concrete words with a healthy dose of world cultures and customs, games, children's books, and geography. Every child speaks French during every French class. One of Mme. Hovick's favorite parts of school is to read her students' comments about French class. "Merci (Thank you), Mme Hovick, for teaching us French. I had so much fun with you." and "I can't wait until next year!" |
