| Mountain Peak's Co-founder and Owner Tom Buckett continues as Mountain Peak's Business Manager and Physical Education instructor. Tom is very proud that Mountain Peak is the only school in Colorado offering daily physical education. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Administrative Management. By day, a corporate worker in the aerospace and disc drive industries for many years, Tom's passion for coaching got him involved with his own children's teams by coaching their sport's teams on evenings and weekends. Beginning with Kindergarten basketball and baseball (both girls and boys), he has spent 18 years coaching for the YMCA, Niwot Youth Sports, City of Longmont Recreation, Longmont Baseball League, Silver Creek High School, and Girls Fastpitch Association. Realizing how much he missed coaching the kids outside of school, Tom has coached MPPS Rams basketball teams the past four years. A strong, male presence, Tom's enthusiasm, integrity, and ability to connect with each child, continue to make him a valuable asset to the school. | ||||||||
