Summer Camp at Mountain Peak
Summer Camp for 2013 is over. We will start taking applications for 2014 Summer Camp in the spring.
- Camp is open to children who are going into Kindergarten in the fall through age 12*. (Theme camp is open to preschoolers)
- Small, intimate setting with 1:9 staff/child ratio (max. 27 kids/day)
- Non Mountain Peak Students CAN attend.
- Hours will be from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday.
- One Week "Theme" Summer Camp offered (more info below.)
- *Over age 12 may be admitted with staff approval
Activities offered are:
- Swimming
- Daily Craft projects
- Organized games & other physical activities
- Academic (Daily individualized math and reading programs, weekly themes with science/social studies included)
- Variety of Fun Field Trips in the local area
- Daily Snack provided
- Children are required to bring their own lunch each day.
2013 Rates below:
(2014 rates subject to change)
- Full Time - (more than 8 weeks): $1950 which equates to $195 per week(siblings receive 10% discount)
- Full Time - (8 weeks or less, must specify weeks in advance): $250 week
- Daily: Full Time - (over 5 hours, must specify days of the week in advance): $55/day
- Daily: Half Time - (up to 5 hours, must specify days of the week in advance): $35/day
**A 10% non-refundable deposit will be due with registration, and the balance is due and payable on or before June 1.
One Week "Theme" Summer Camp
Class Options: Preschool or School Age (up to age 12)
July 29-August 2 "Is it Magic or is it Science?" Fun science experiments throughout the week finishing up with Mentos geysers on Friday!
Games, songs, food and projects included. Age appropriate activities at school will create opportunities for social and academic fun. Friday will be "Water Play Day" for both camp sessions.
Time: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
*Preschoolers must be 3 years old by 1st day of camp and be toilet trained. Children not yet 3 who are enrolled in a fall class at MPPS may be admitted with director approval. |
